Event - ART 'X'

Cities gain value through public Art like cultural , social and economic value. Public art is a distinguishing part of our public history and our evolving culture. It reflects and reveals our society ,adds meaning to our cities and uniqueness to our communities. Public art humanizes the built environment and incorporates public spaces. It provides an intersection between the past , present and the future between disciplines ranging across a wide variety of spectrums and ideas.
One Prime point in public art is that incorporates artists and their creative vision into the civic decision making process. Art and artists bring a colorful and fantastic vista to the otherwise drab planning process. Generally there is observed a positive consensus on public art continuum that appreciates the varied creative intentions and roles that art may bring to a project.
Our college students participated in this competition and won Special Mention Trophy.
